Overview of ACI-330 and an Introduction to Pervious Concrete

Concrete parking lots provide beautiful, long lasting, low maintenance solutions
for commercial and public buildings. They also are a sustainable solution that
can help gain LEED™ points.
This course will introduce attendees to state-of-the-art design
and construction procedures as described in the American Concrete
Institute’s ACI 330R, Guide for the Design and Construction
of Concrete Parking Lots. Also, the course will provide an overview
of pervious concrete in Texas soils. Relevant sustainability and
LEED™ certification issues will be highlighted.
The course is intended for civil and geotechnical engineers, architects,
landscape architects, public works officials and others who design
parking lots and similar hardscaping. Contractors, product suppliers
and land developers will also benefit from this seminar. 5 PDH’s
will be offered.
