NANCY AGUIRRE, EIT
Nancy is the Program Manager of Highways and Airports, for the Cement Council of Texas and the newest CCT employee. She has research experience in the area of concrete pavement analysis and finite element modeling. Nancy graduated from the University of Texas El Paso with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Civil Engineering at UTEP under the research project “Development of a Numerical Simulation Tool for Continuously Reinforced Concrete Pavements”. During her graduate studies, Nancy participated in writing SPTC and TxDOT proposals and collaborated with the Cement Council of Texas on several projects involving a new method for pavement design. Nancy also has experience teaching the Civil Engineering Fundamentals and Design of Steel Structures courses offered at UTEP.
