![]() The American Concrete Pavement Association is holding it's 53rd Annual Meeting on November 3 - December 1 at the Hyatt Regency in Austin. The conference was last held in Texas in 2008. It is an opportunity for Texas road agency officials, engineers and constructors to learn the latest concrete pavement technology for building the most durable and economic concrete highways, streets and site facilities. The conference theme is "Pave it Forward." Of particular note, Wednesday and Thursday will feature the Concrete Pavement University, with construction project and technology stories from around the country, along with a special technical session on performance specs and pay factors. Eight breakout sessions will cover: new technologies, current material issues, smoothness perspectives, curing & sealing, CRCP advancements, performance-engineered mixtures, pavement repair materials & innovations, and jointing/silica dust issue.
