James D. Pitcock Jr., chairman and CEO of Williams Brothers Construction Company, was awarded the American Concrete Pavement Association's 2016 Hartmann-Hirshman-Egan Award. It is presented annually to individuals or organizations for "unparalleled, long-term commitment, dedication, participation, and leadership in the concrete pavement community." Williams Brothers, one of the largest concrete pavement contractors in the U.S., is based in Houston.
