Texas Motorplex, which opened in 1986, was the first all-concrete, stadium-style facility constructed for championship drag racing. In addition to hosting various racing and car show events, the Motorplex features the Champion’s Club – an 11,000 square-foot facility – that serves fully catered events throughout the year.  The 2012 season started on March 17th, and will continue with events throughout the season.  See full article in Racin' Today, March 17, 2012)
