Woodsboro ISD Builds Concrete Dome for Sports and Community Shelter
The Woodsboro ISD, in South Texas and near the Gulf Coast, has built a state-of-the-art reinforced concrete sports dome that will double as a hurrican and tornado-resistant emergency evacuation center for the community. The $2.3 million venue was financed with FEMA funds; it can seat 700, and house 1,700 in an emergency. Read the full article in the KIRSTV website.
