Austin's Hornsby Bend Compost Pavement Garners ACPA Award
Austin's Hornsby Bend Biosolids Management Facility expanded, in 2011, its existing 25 acre roller compacted concrete pavement processing pad, with an additional 15 acres of continuously reinforced concrete. The innovative design by HVJ Associates, and fast, high-quality construction by Chasco Constructors, resulted in a national Gold Excellence in Concrete Paving Award from the American Concrete Pavement Association.
