concrete PARKING LOTS

Concrete parking lots reflect the sun and the artificial light making them cooler and brighter at night and, since concrete surfaces are much lighter colored, air-conditioning and lighting costs can be reduced. This creates a safer parking lot and also reduces energy costs. When designed correctly, there is little need for resurfacing, sealing, or patching, which leads to a nearly zero maintenance cost. It is recommended for joints to be cleaned and resealed about every 10 years as well as restriping the parking area when necessary to ensure a safe and long-lasting parking lot.

They say first impressions are important, well concrete pavements leave the impression that customers matter.

Go to https://paveahead.com/parking/  and visit the design center. When registered, you will be walked through the planning and design process, step by step. At Pave Ahead they will even develop a jointing plan for you.

If your existing asphalt parking has had its better days, then you need to check out the National Concrete Pavement Technology Center’s Guide to Concrete Overlays of Asphalt Parking Lots at https://cptechcenter.org/publications/, which covers the process of determining the condition of the existing pavement and designing the concrete parking lot. Providing you with a long-term solution.
