RANDY BOWERS, PE
Randy is the newest team member joining the Cement Council of Texas in September 2020. He is a professional engineer with over 35 years of service with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) . Randy has led both a rural and urban area office for TxDOT in the design, construction and maintenance of numerous highway projects. He has a thorough knowledge of concrete paving, concrete structures, and cement stabilization. He has recently worked the past three years leading the South Tarrant Area Office on numerous projects as well as the 250-million dollar IH 30 /SH 360 interchange project as well as the 50-million widening of SH 360. Randy also led the rural Johnson County Area Office in the completion of the US 67 concrete freeway widening and numerous full depth reclamation projects.
Prior to becoming an Area Engineer, Randy served as the Assistant Director of Maintenance for the Fort Worth District. For the 9-county District, He managed the Program Budget and Routine Maintenance Contracts, he led the Concrete Repair Crew, the Seal Coat Project Inspection team, Building and Parking Construction and Maintenance, and the Routine Airport Maintenance Program. He also served previously as a Project Manager of the numerous planning and design projects which include the Chisolm Trail Parkway in Fort Worth and Widening of I-30 in the Arlington Entertainment Area. |
